Latest Addition to the Withington Family Selected by Wine-of-the-Month Club

The latest addition to the Withington family of wines is a Cabernet Sauvignon 2002. The Wine-of-the-Month club, have already selected this wine as their top Cabernet for July 2006. However, we will be keeping a few cases back for local and international sale.

The wine was made in very limited quantities and hand crafted with extreme care. Traditional techniques such as open tank fermentation and manual plunging (manually mixing the skin cap with the fermenting juice), were employed. The result is a classic wine of exceptional character. The wine shows spicy oak and ripe cherry characters, balanced by soft, elegant tannins and a lingering, succulent aftertaste. It quite outstanding at the moment, but your patience for 3-5 years of cellaring will be substantially rewarded.
