Women and Wine ….. by Vanessa

More and more wines or wine-related websites, that have a strong female focus, are hitting my radar screen. I thought, I would share my most interesting finds with you:

My first experience, was at Cape Wine 2006, where our stand was located next to Women in Wine, a 100% black owned, female company that produces a range of wine, under the name of Edens Vineyard. Another wine, following the theme of the fairer sex, is a whole lot less subtle, it is Mad Housewife range of wines, producer by Rainier Wines in the US.

It terms of websites, the recently launched, Wine Diva, a website aimed at South African women, seems to be getting a fair amount of press. Once again on the less subtle side, we have Women with Wine, quite rightly they claim to be a blog like no other!
