Withington and the 2008 Vintage

The 2008 vintage has been a bit tricky, with some unseasonal rains and then some humid spells in between. At face value it would seem that the good wines are good and in relatively short supply; then there’s a whole chunk in the middle that are fairly good and are not in short supply; and then there are the also rans!

One of the advantages I have in working with four different wineries in different areas, is that I have a degree of flexibility, and all of this with the aim of keeping the quality up to what it should be, hopefully even exceeding it with each succeeding vintage!
