The Wrong Way Around? – We don’t think so!

It is at this time of year that wine producers start receiving the customary “Christmas gift” . Two days ago I received a most lovely picnic and braai set from one of the shipping agents I use – indeed it was almost OTT for the amount of business we give them, but nevertheless, it was much appreciated.

However, we liked to think we do things differently sometimes, and so we actually think Year End and Christmas a time to thank our suppliers and give them a little gift accompanied by the following note

Here at Withington wines we have the mindset that our suppliers are every bit as important as our customers.

Like it or not … our service can only be as good as our worst supplier, so it is critical for our  Brand  to deal with those who share the ethos of “service excellence”.

So this little gift comes as a “thank you” for what you have done for us in 2008 and wishing you all the best for 2009.  May Christmas be what is should be … a blessed time of peace, joy and laughter and may the year ahead be filled with fine wines and fine times.
